By providing a detailed history, you will help us to achieve the best outcome for each family.
- The cost of Tresillian Day Services/consultations are covered by Medicare
- 4-night/5-day Residential Stays are covered by Medicare or the family’s private health fund. If both parents stay overnight one parent is a boarder and an accommodation/meals charge will apply of around $56 per day.
Tresillian Day services can be accessed in the following ways:
- The family can visit a Tresillian Centre for FREE two-hour consultation with a Tresillian Nurse
- An online Telehealth appointment can be arranged for a FREE two-hour consultation with a Tresillian Nurse
- Parent Groups – FREE one hour parent education groups are facilitated by Tresillian Nurses in Tresillian Centres, in the Community and virtually on topics such as ‘Supporting Sleep in your baby’; the ‘Circle of Security’, ‘Emotional Wellbeing’ and ’Getting to Know You’. Courses are advertised on the Tresillian website at https://www.tresillian.org.au/courses/for-parents/

Tresillian has four residential Centres in New South Wales at Canterbury, Nepean, Wollstonecraft and Macksville. These can be accessed by parents living across the state who have a referral from their health professional. Tresillian also operates the QEII Family Centre in Curtin, ACT.
Family’s live in at a Tresillian Centre for a 4-night/5 day period and are supported with parenting issues such as a baby who is nightwaking, toddler behaviour challenges or parental stress and anxiety.

Yes. Parents with a concern about their baby can call the Tresillian Parent’s Help Line on FREECALL 1300 272 736. A registered nurse will offer advice and recommend the most appropriate Tresillian service to meet the needs of the family.
Health Professionals may also advise parents that they have the option of self referral. To Self Refer, parents can visit the Tresillian website at tresillian.org.au and complete the short online contact form. A Tresillian Nurse will call them back within 72 hours to discuss the best service for their needs.
