Acknowledgement of Country
Welcome
We acknowledge the diverse communities we serve across NSW, the ACT and Albury Wodonga, Victoria and are committed to the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and to closing the gap in health outcomes between non-Indigenous and First Nations people.
Culturally safe
We provide a culturally safe and welcoming service at Tresillian that provides practical support to families from the very beginning of their baby’s life journey!
We promote:
- Cultural safety and awareness - many Tresillian Centres and Tresillian 2U Mobile Vans have an Aboriginal Health Worker on staff.
- Strong connections with local Aboriginal communities.
- Tresillian staff participate in many Aboriginal Promotional Days and including NAIDOC week
Our Team
Our staff team includes Child and Family Health Nurses, GP’s, Psychologists and Social Workers and in some cases, Aboriginal Health Workers who support local families in aboriginal communities with advocacy, liaison and health promotion. They can help you with advice, on your child and your own emotional wellbeing.
Recruitment
We understand that Aboriginal Health Workers are key to improving the health outcomes of Aboriginal people. If you’re an indigenous First Nations person, consider joining our team at Tresillian. APPLY HERE
